Politics,
Labour and Sustainability is an interdisciplinary research group
on practical philosophy and the social sciences in
the Department of Philosophy and Social Work at the University of
the Balearic Islands.
The
group's work is oriented towards 1) politics - structural transformations,
social justice and public policies, 2) culture - identity and values
- and 3) society - work, family and sustainability.
Its
general objectives are 1) to systemise and arrange socio-scientific,
philosophical and theoretical categories in models for social analyses;
2) contribute to the evaluation of social issues at the local and
the global levels; and 3) to discuss and disseminate general knowledge.
