Wellcome to the website of the MSc in Chemistry and Chemical Technolgy and Ph.D. in Experimental Sciences and Technologies.Chemistry and Chemical Technolgy. The programme has been distinguished with the "Quality Award" of the Spanish Ministry of Education (MCD2007-00572).
The master is addressed to students possessing a Bachelor or Graduate degree in Chemistry or a related science areas, and who wish to pursue further PhD studies in Chemistry and Chemical Technololy, or just acquire experience in research work in the following interdisciplinary areas:
The programme will be taught by leading experts from the Department of Chemistry -University of the Balearic Islands- in collaboration with professors from:
- Department of Inorganic Chemistry and Meterial Science. University of Torino
- Department od Food Technologie. Politechnic University of Valencia
- Instituto Universitario de Investigación en Ciencias de la Salud (IUNICS)
- Department of Physics. University of the Balearic Islands
- Department of Fundamental Biology and Health Sciences. UIB
- University of Applied Sciences of Hamburg. Germany
- Environmental Chemistry Laboratory. University of Aix en Marseille. France
- School of Biotechnology. Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Portugal
- Faculty of Pharmacy. University of Porto. Portugal
- Faculty of Pharmacy. University of Barcelona
- Department of Physical Chemistry. High Politechnic School of Albacete. University of Castilla La Mancha
Through the Master Course, students should acquire a broad knowledge on how to address research, development and innovation issues. This would be accomplished by carrying out specific research work related to projects headed by the research groups of the Chemistry Department; which have been qualified as competitive by the local government authorities and sponsored by EU and/or the Spanish R+D+I National Plan. On graduation, you will be ideally placed to undertake genuinely interdisciplinary research in either academia or industry
