Sales Gelabert, Tomeu, Assistant professor on Moral and Political Philosophy at the University of the Balearic Islands; Ph.D. in Philosophy. University of the Balearic Islands, 2009, Modernity, politics and globalization. The social and political theory of Ulrich Beck. He has taught in the Bachelor and the Degree of Philosophy.

Doctor of Humanities and Social Sciences at the UIB (2009) with the thesis: Modernity, politics and globalization. The social and political theory of Ulrich Beck (excellent cum laude). Master's in cognition and Human Evolution by UIB (2007). Degree in Philosophy by UIB (2003), Degree in Political Science and Administration at UNED (2020).

He has enjoyed a FPI research grant from the Ministry of Education and Science (2005-2009). As part of the scholarship, he developed research staying at the Ludwig Maximinials Universität München (April- August 2007), under the direction of Prof. Ulrich Beck.

Member of the Research Group Practical Philosophy (Praxis) of the Department of Philosophy and Social Work at UIB. Participated as research in I+D+I Projects. He has participated in several international, national and regional conferences as speaker.
